We have decades of experience, and offer unique insights into the medicine experience.
Huachuma is often called the cactus of the four winds, and Mountain Wind seeks to embody that in the spirit of the cleansing and refreshing winds of the Andes. Navigating the medicine space can be a challenge, Mountain Wind helps navigate by providing experienced guides and sitters to work with you. Additionally through our Partnerships we offer the safety and convenience of booking with centers, facilitators, group leaders, medicine people, and guides of all types. You are invited to join us on the medicine path, with confidence that you are receiving the best services, experiences, and guidance available.
I have been working with plant medicine for more than a decade for my own personal growth as well as guiding and helping others find their own medicine path. My experiences have had a profound effect on my life, and the understanding I have gained has proven to be useful to all who have joined me.
I started Mountain Wind to give back to the medicine that has given me so much. My goal with Mountain Wind is to provide safe, affordable, access to the medicine for all who seek it.
Casa de la Gringa is the home of world famous huachumera Lesley Myburg. Located immediately next to the ancient Temple of the Moon near Cusco. This center has been open for decades and served countless guests. Their experience, guidance, and environment are second to none.
The center itself offers beautiful gardens, comfortable clean sleeping quarters, and amazing access to ancient ruins. There is no other huachuma center I recommend, Casa de la Gringa offers it all, at an affordable rate with a heart-open mentality that I have seldom encountered in my journeys.
If our retreats are not to your preference, and you seek an experience with The Grandfather, feel free to visit Casa de la Gringa’s website and contact them directly here.

Bamboo Manu EcoLodge is more than just accommodation.
It’s a family dream come true, born from a love of nature and a desire to share the magic of Manu National Park with you.
It’s built on land we use sustainably. We know that our combined efforts with yours will contribute to preserving the environment. We believe our volunteer project, which spans a variety of fields, will show us the way to raising awareness about this important task of improving and conserving the environment.
We are always looking for new partnerships. If you offer Huachuma, Ayahuasca, or Kambo we can help with consulting or advertising strategy. If you have a center, we can bring guests. If you want to bring groups of your own, we can handle logistics. We don’t believe in competition within the medicine space, we believe in sharing our skills to improve safety, customer experiences, and spread the medicine to everyone who seeks it.
The only thing we require is that you offer your services with the three pillars of humility, purity, and respect. Contact us for more information!
Mountain Wind is a medicine retreat and tourism company, built to give guests flexible choices and guide them through the medicine experiences of their choice. We are based out of Cusco, Peru.
Mountain Wind is just recently started by its founder Shane Parks. However Shane has been hosting retreats and guiding guests for more than 5 years through other projects or companies. This is Shane’s first solo company, bringing his decade worth of personal and professional experience in the medicine world to the guests of Mountain Wind.
The medicine world is difficult to navigate. It is hard to find a center you can trust to operate with integrity. Mountain Wind seeks to make this process easier on guests that seek the medicines indigenous to Peru. Our guests book with confidence knowing that they will receive everything promised, with experienced staff, and without surprise costs.
Mountain Wind hopes to move toward a BIC company. This is commonly known internationally as a Public Benefit Corporation. The purpose of a BIC in Peru is to give back to environmental and social causes as part of its business model.
We are working hard to achieve this BIC status. For now we have two domains, mountain-wind.com, and mountainwind.org. We hope to grow into our mountainwind.org domain, as we work toward our goals of giving back to the indigenous cultures and the environment that has provided so much for us.
